The Graduation Party

So here we are, with the graduation so close you can almost smell it, taste it on your lips. So am I happy? Pretty much, yes, but also extremely nervous and scared, what if I don’t get into school, I mean…this summer the rest of my life begins and if I mess up it might be more then is repairable. Heh, but I guess about everyone feels this way with the upcoming graduation, and most turn out allright.

Anyhow, these last few days have been so intensed, starting Wednesday I had an religion exam covering the Hinduism and the Buddism at 0800 hours, followed up by a long and pretty boring day til’ 1600 hours…followed by a 6 km run and chest training at the gym.

The night bid on my friends Graduation party at Hot Company on Odenplan in Stockholm, not that great if you ask me, first my friend Mamoush got a bit late so we arrived 1,5 hours late, then we couldn’t find the place so we strolled around on the streets for about 15 minutes before we found a couple of girls who were going to the same place and as ourselves…were lost. Then as we arrived everybody seemed drunk, including the DJ (cause the music kept stopping from time to time), the place seemed to have a bad air conditioning cause the place felt like a sauna and to top it all of the one who’s graduation party it was left early cause he felt nauseous. So at 1.50 it was time to go spraight for the bus stop.

Hot Company.

Arriving at Central station me and my friend desided we’d go to McDonald’s to get ourselves some food and take the 3.10 bus home. All went great aside two things, as we ate at McDonald’s a guy started hitting on a girl in the line and she ignored him…after which she accidently hit him in the face as she was turning around to go sit down by one of the tables…Five minutes later she got a full coke poured over her head by him…Olny in Stockholm! Then there was no 3.10 bus so we had to wait for 30 min in the freezing cold for the next bus to arrive.

The next night 3/5-2007 it was time for my own graduation party at Chalin’s Bar. Now I have to say that I was sceptical in the beginning, mostly due to my normally distorted class but the party was a complete success, the DJ was excellent, Sky Louge was increadible and the people invited…lets say it’s been long since I had such a good time. I can almost say that I’ll miss my classmates once we’ve graduated, naaww, nah, I’ll miss them, especially Tariq and Elham. At 2.10 my friend asked if he could sleep at my place cause he had no way to get home and so we took the bus home at 2.40 after a few tequilas, lots of dancing and some kareokee…with a memory of a night to remember.

Waking up on the floor the next morning I felt great…suprisingly. After brakefast Chriss left and I was ready for a whole day of relax but noo. My godmother and ant had to pull my out to the aquapark instead, I seriously thought I’d die of exhaustion. 4 hours at the aquapark, after several rides and 25×52 m swinning we returned home. My old polish teacher called (and this just proves how tired I was), she asked how I was doing and I answered in Polish “Oh I’m fine, just a bit tired cause my ant and mother of god have come here for a few weeks and so they’re pulling my arms around Stockholm”. Now as you understand that’s a misstranslasion. “Godmother” or “Gudmor” as it’s called in Swedish translates “Baptism Mother” in Polish as Godmother actually referes to Maria (mother of Jesus by the Catholic belief). So after finishing the phonecall the whole family was laughing and so I thought it’s probably time to get some sleep, I fell asleep just after 2100 hours and slept like a baby all night.

Some well deserved relax?
